Since 1963, 25 Rue Masséna has been a must-visit location in Nice. At the heart of the pedestrianised area and all its hustle and bustle, this well-known brasserie has attracted lovers of good food, whether on the terrace or in the nicely decorated dining rooms. Here you can try traditional dishes from across France (from the famous Alsatian choucroute to the Niçois petits farcis), all in a friendly environment.
At La Taverne Masséna, you’ll also be able to enjoy our famous pizzas with their unique taste, both crisp and soft with lashings of toppings, including cheese carefully selected from independent producers, as well as a divine apple tart to end the meal on a high.
There is also a large selection of Niçois specialities, as well as humble favourites, pasta dishes, salads, meat dishes, fish dishes and mussels, as well as artisan ice cream and homemade desserts.
Open every day non-stop from 11:30 am to 12:30 am and 1 am in high season.
Our restaurant can welcome groups up to 100 people, with a dining room that can be completely booked for private use.
All our dishes are also available to take away

Authenticity, excellent service, friendliness and a chance to spend time together – these are some of the things that guests to La Taverne Masséna have enjoyed since 1963.
Excellent products meticulously selected for your pure enjoyment.
Enjoy the taste of practically all of France, from Alsace to the Mediterranean, with homemade dishes made with passion for every taste.
Very welcoming and friendly staff. Quick service. I’ve been eating pizzas at La Taverne Masséna for years and have never been disappointed. Very generous, highly recommended.

Excellent! We arrived late and the welcome that we were given was very pleasant, smiley and relaxed. Nothing to say about our meals – lasagne and seafood choucroute – other than that they were generous and really good. We would recommend without any hesitation.

Always excellent! A Nice institution, a great Parisian-style brasserie, great cuisine, the products are fresh, great value for money. Quick service by kind young servers. In the summer months, the second-floor terrace is extraordinary!

Impeccable welcome and service. This restaurant was recommended to us by a native of Nice, and this advice turned out to be excellent. Between the welcome, the service and what we ordered, everything was perfect. Thank you!
Excellent! We got a very reception and service for a table of 16 people! The dishes were very good, generous, and the prices were perfect. The Maison Cresci pizzas are particularly original and good.
